Burt's Bees Honey and Grapeseed Hand Cream

Burt's Bees Honey and Grapeseed Hand Cream

I got this hand cream in a Burt's Bees set around Christmas time this year. I thought I'd do a review on it. This is part of the Burt's Bees hand care line, but it is the smaller travel sized bottles that they put in their little sample kits to try a lot of items at once.  This is a .75 oz. tube.

The formula is a thick white cream, it is thicker then normal lotion, it's made for very dry, cracked hands. It is formulated with jojoba butter, grape seed oil, beeswax, cupuacu seed butter, macadamia seed oil, sunflower seed oil, and rosemary leaf extract. I love the smell of this, it is a beeswax and honey smell. Not overpowering. Which is great for sensitive skin and sensitive noses.

I personally love thick hand creams more in the winter, due to the cold weather where I live. But this goes on lightly, and doesn't feel very thick on the skin at all. The moisturization stays on all day long, even after you wash your hands (which I do a lot).  So you can use this year round on your dry little mitts. I also do needlework and find that the thread and canvas I work with take away all the oils/moisturization from my hand, so I also use this while working on my crafts.

I love this product a whole lot. This is one of my favorite hand creams from Burt's Bees, in the hand care line. I love the smell, the texture of the cream, how it goes on, and how they feel afterwards, I would purchase a full size any day.

This gets: an A+
5/5
I Love it!

You can purchase this on amazon, ulta.com,target, target.com,wal-mart,walmart.com, drugstores, grocery stores, ect.

Stay tuned for more beauty reviews soon,

Lush Review: The New Charity Pot

This is lush's new charity pot, and it is a very hydrating and moisturizing body lotion that is handmade with natural fresh ingredients.  I did purchase the full 8.4 oz pot, that sells for 26.00$.  This lotion is dye free and made with natural ingredients like olive oil, jojoba oil, moringa oil, aloe, Cocoa butter, and shea butter.
It is also scented differently then the previous charity pot, it is a vanilla and floral fragrance, but it isn't heavy, it's a light smell. I quite enjoy it. It is scented with natural oils like vanilla, geranium oil, rosewood oil, and ylang ylang oil. The pot it is sold in is 100% recycled plastic, so no earthly wrecking issues.
The two best things about this lotion is one, how well it makes skin silky smooth, and two how 100% of the price goes to various charities that lush is supporting. What I can't find out is why isn't everyone buying this to support charities??? and make your skin silky soft.
Lush also has a recycling program that if you bring in five of your old pots, you get a fresh face mask. Awesome!
I love it and will re-buy many times!!
It gets an AAAA++++++
I recommend everyone buy it, even the smaller size, and support charities.  to but it go to Lush Charity Pot to buy one.

Illume Lavish Hand Creme: Cactus Verde Sample Review

Image
I got this hand creme in my March Birchbox in 2014, and I tried it out, I thought I'd review it for everyone. so here we go.
Image
The scent I got was cactus verde which is cassis, sea salt, and wild geranium. The scent is clean and airy, kind of beachy and it is perfect for spring time. I absolutely love this smell, it is soo fresh and makes me think of being outside on a spring day.
The little sample packet contains .34oz  which is enough for a few times of trying it out. It is made by illume candles, and is made locally for me in minneapolis, mn.  It contains nourishing and hydrating coconut, mango, cocoa, jojoba, and avacado oils. It is paraben-free and 100% natural.  It also isn't tested on animals and isn't made with animal ingredients.
I love this stuff and probably will be purchasing a full size of this product either on birchbox to get points or through the illume website. a full size tube of this stuff is 20.00$ for 3.5oz.
