I ended up spending a lot more then I wanted, but it was worth it, I got a lot of stuff. Almost 200$ worth of stuff. I do not like Ulta's customer service or stocking at all. at least the ones near me are, they are  rude and not well stocked. I also do not like their rewards program either. I like to shop Sephora most of the time, but there are things you can only get at Ulta, so I deal with the issues every time I shop there.
but anyways reviews will be up soon for these items,

Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream

Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream

I got this in a Burt's Bees set around Christmas time, I thought I would review it for your guys.
This is part of the Burt's Bees foot care line. As I said it is a travel size I got in a set with other products to try. This is the .75 oz. size.

I personally do not like coconut in any way, but the smell of this doesn't bother me at all. I actually like it. The formula is a thick, almost gooey yellowish thick cream you put on your feet to moisturize and treat tired feet. It is formulated with olive oil, oat kernel flour, coconut oil, quillaja bark extract, oat kernel oil, rosemary leaf extract, soybean oil,  and canola oil. It's 94% Natural.

The product texture and feel is kind of off putting at first, but once you rub into your feet it feels amazing. it's thick so it gets into your feet and really moisturizes and treats your feet. I use this by putting it on my feet after a bath/shower and putting socks on to let it soak in overnight. After, in the morning I have smooth, baby's butt soft feet. I love it!

The full size product retails for 9.00$, for 4.34 oz. tube. it can be found on amazon, ulta.com,target, target.com,walmart, walmart.com, drugstores, and grocery stores.

It can also be found on the Burt's Bees website : http://www.burtsbees.com/Coconut-Foot-Cr%C3%A8me/06999-00,default,pd.html

This gets: a B. Due to the goopey, oily texture before rubbing in.
4/5

Thanks for reading, Stay tuned for more soon,

Burt's Bees Honey and Grapeseed Hand Cream

Burt's Bees Honey and Grapeseed Hand Cream

I got this hand cream in a Burt's Bees set around Christmas time this year. I thought I'd do a review on it. This is part of the Burt's Bees hand care line, but it is the smaller travel sized bottles that they put in their little sample kits to try a lot of items at once.  This is a .75 oz. tube.

The formula is a thick white cream, it is thicker then normal lotion, it's made for very dry, cracked hands. It is formulated with jojoba butter, grape seed oil, beeswax, cupuacu seed butter, macadamia seed oil, sunflower seed oil, and rosemary leaf extract. I love the smell of this, it is a beeswax and honey smell. Not overpowering. Which is great for sensitive skin and sensitive noses.

I personally love thick hand creams more in the winter, due to the cold weather where I live. But this goes on lightly, and doesn't feel very thick on the skin at all. The moisturization stays on all day long, even after you wash your hands (which I do a lot).  So you can use this year round on your dry little mitts. I also do needlework and find that the thread and canvas I work with take away all the oils/moisturization from my hand, so I also use this while working on my crafts.

I love this product a whole lot. This is one of my favorite hand creams from Burt's Bees, in the hand care line. I love the smell, the texture of the cream, how it goes on, and how they feel afterwards, I would purchase a full size any day.

This gets: an A+
5/5
I Love it!

You can purchase this on amazon, ulta.com,target, target.com,wal-mart,walmart.com, drugstores, grocery stores, ect.

Stay tuned for more beauty reviews soon,

Yes to Tomatoes: Blemish Clearing Facial Wipes

Yes To Tomatoes: Blemish Clearing Facial Wipes

I purchased these awhile ago at my local Wal-Mart and thought I would do a review on these facial wipes.

This is a part of the Yes To line, with Tomatoes being for acne/oily, problem skin. These are the Yes To Tomatoes Blemish Clearing Facial Wipes, they come with 25 wipes in one travel friendly pack. These wipes are formulated for oily/acne prone skin, and have a heavier focus on acne spots, blemishes, and pore care with the Yes to tomatoes line.  They retail for 6.00$ for a 25 pack of wipes.

These wipes are formulated with an active ingredient of 1% salicylic Acid. It is also formulated with tomato fruit extract, rooibos extract, witch hazel, watermelon extract, and red pepper extract.

The wipe has a good thickness, not to flimsy and not to thick. The smell is good, not harsh or burning. I like the smell. Also the wipes come with plenty of solution on them, so no half wet wipes. The wipes do stay wet very well, when placed face down so the solution can sink into the top of the wipes.

I use facial wipes to take off my makeup before washing my face, to touch up my face in between washing my face, and also if I am not near a water source and I need to wash my face.

I personally love these wipes. I love the smell, the texture of the wipes, the thickness of the wipes, and how well they work. They take off all my makeup after a day/night of wearing it, even waterproof makeup. They work well to control my oily skin in between washing. They even treat my acne prone skin whenever I use them. They leave my skin feel fresh and clean. No stinging or burning I got when using some other wipes.

I would give it: an A+ and 5 out of 5 (5/5).

they can be found at target, walmart, amazon, drugstores, grocery store, ulta and on the Yes to Carrots website(http://yestocarrots.com/product/yes-to-tomatoes-blemish-clearing-facial-wipes-25ct/)

Garnier Clean+ Shine Control Charcoal Cleanser

Garnier Clean+ Shine Control Gel Cleanser

I picked up this cleanser at my local Target store around April. I got this specific cleanser because it had charcoal in it, and I love my Biore charcoal cleanser, and wanted to compare them together(which will be posted soon).   This product is meant for oily/acne prone skin, and is formulated with charcoal to pull out impurities and dirt. It is also formulated to help with shine and pore size control. It is oil-free . The formula has charcoal powder and menthol.

You use this like a normal cleanser for your skin. wet your skin, work gel into face, and wash away. You can also use with cleansing devices such as a clarisonic, silicone face scrubber, or konjac sponge.

I first tried this cleanser instead of my Biore charcoal cleanser, and I love it just as much as my Biore cleanser but maybe a sight bit more. After washing my face, my face felt clean, and free of any excess oils left over from sleeping or throughout the day. It does clean well after wearing makeup all day/night. It does control excess oils, and shine throughout the time after washing your face. I personally love the product for my skin type.

It has a claim that it makes your skin better and your pores smaller in a week. As for that claim I believe it help your skin look shine free and better after washing. but for the pores and their size, it doesn't work. temporary yes, it helps pore size by cleaning out the dirt and oil from them. For long term results nothing can shrink pore size at all, you just have the pores you have and you have to deal with them. Do not believe any product that says it will fix your pore size forever, it is not a true claim, and is a scam to get you to spend money on it.

This is a favorite of mine, I totally love this product. You get more, then with the Biore product, more for your money. Yass girl! I love the smell of this product. It works well for oil/acne prone skin. It controls shine/oil. It is part of my Holy grail product. And is in my current skin care routine.

This gets an A+ and a 5 out of 5 for me!
A+
5/5

Neutrogena Clear Pore Toner Review

Neutrogena Clear Pore Toner Review

I picked this up at my local grocery store(Cub) after running out of my other toners. I picked up the Neutrogena Clear Pore astringent after seeing the price on the toner, which was 4.00$-5.00$, and was the cheapest one there. The toner is an oil-eliminating and acne prone skin toner with salicylic acid to help treat acne and exfoliate the skin. The formula is made with witch hazel, aloe leaf extract, salicylic acid and chamomile extract.

The full size bottle is 8 fl. oz. and retails for 5.24$ depending on sales, offers where you get it. The neutrogena website you can pick it up for 5.24$ plus shipping. (http://www.neutrogena.com/product/clear+pore+oil-eliminating+astringent.do?sortby=ourPicks)

To use you just swipe on your face, with a cotton ball after washing your face, or to refresh your face during the day.

After using this my face felt a bit dry, but it did help exfoliate my skin, and pick up what was left behind after washing my face. My acne was a little bit dried up after swiping this over them. I liked the product. I did notice after a few days my acne was better and after a week my skin was healing from my acne. I love this product now, and I do notice my acne coming back if I don't use this toner as part of a three-step skincare regimen.

I love this product a whole lot, and will repurchase probably for as long as I have acne and oily skin. And ITS CHEAP which works for me because I'm always trying to save some money on everything.

I'll give this an A+ and 5 out of 5. Love it!

This may or may not work for you, but it works for me. I'll keep it. I assume you can buy it at big box stores, amazon, walmart, target, ulta, drugstore, and grocery stores. Google it if you want to know more, or go to the link above.

Shea Moisture Peace Rose Oil Complex Sensitive Skin Mud Mask

Shea Moisture Peace Rose Oil Complex Sensitive Skin Mud Mask

I received this as a sample size from Pinch Me. The foil packet contains 10 ml. inside.  The formula is made for sensitive skin, and is made as a mud mask with kaolin to soften, purify, and calm your skin. The formula contains date palm extract, camellia extract, shea butter, alpine oil, damask oil, and musk rose oils.
To use you put on the face and leave on for 10 mins. and then wash off.

I didn't know what oils were in this so, I looked them up to gain knowledge on what was inside the product. Here are the oils in this product.

Damask oil: is a rose oil  that is from Turkey or Bulgaria.(Damask Rose Oil)
Alpine Oil: Is a type of lavender essential oil from France(Alpine Oil)
Musk Rose Oil: Is an essential oil made from wild musk roses(Musk Roses)

My breakdown:
I used this sample of face mask 2 times. I had two different experiences, for each time I used this mask.
First I love, love, love the smell of this mask. I have always loved the smell of fresh roses, rose oil, and rose smelling stuff in general.

The first time I put on this mask to try it I put it on my face, and instantly my face started tingling a bit. As the mask sat on my face it starting increasing in tingling a bit more, I think it was bothering me after almost 10 mins. so I washed it off. My skin was tight a slight bit, but it felt soft and smooth and was a bit glowy. I liked the result after using this mask.

The second time I put on this mask to try it, I put it on my face and it started tingling like normal, but it increased until it was actually burning my skin. I had to wash it off after like 2 mins. it was burning so bad. After I washed it off my skin was red, my skin had hives and was sore afterwards, I believe I either had an allergic reaction or my skin did not like the mask that day.

So after that I decided that maybe I should only use this on certain parts of my face, or not at all. So I probably won't buy a big tub of this stuff at full price.

The full product tub is 6 fl oz. and retails for 15.00$ (http://www.sheamoisture.com/Peace-Rose-Oil-Complex-Sensitive-Skin-Mud-Mask_p_1520.html)

The thing that bothers me is I have oily, acne prone skin that is sensitive only slightly, In the winter I have dry skin, that gets oily when not moisturized properly. Why would my skin act like this, and if it's targeted for sensitive skin, why the reaction?? it's weird.

I personally would give it maybe a 3 out of 5 and a C-. It might work for your skin, but for me it didn't. i wanted to love the product, but my skin didn't.

If your interested in Free samples go to Pinch Me: https://www.pinchme.com/

stay tuned for more beauty, geeky goodness.

Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion

Nivea In-Shower Smoothing Body Lotion (for dry skin)

This is a review for Nivea's In-Shower Smoothing Body Lotion for dry skin. There is other types of in-shower lotion for different skin types like very dry skin, normal skin, very, very, dry skin ect. It also has different names under the title like smoothing, hydrating, ect.  I have the one for just dry skin, it is specially made for this skin type with shea butter in it. The dry skin one is the one, with a light blue bottle, and a dark blue bottom/top on it.

The formula is meant to be put on your body after you wash with soap, and wash it off after applying and your left with soft, smooth, awesome skin afterwards. It is said on the bottle that it lasts 24 + hours, meaning until you take a bath/shower again. It is dermatologist tested. It does have shea butter  in it but that is the only super moisturizing product in it besides glycerin, and other weird chemicals I do not know(I'm not a chemist!). The product that comes out is white in color and feels like a runny, slippery, lotion consistency.

That said, I do love the product. It does what it is meant for, it does moisturize(very well) and smooths dry skin. As you rub it in it feels like an oily lotion, but once it sits for a second or two it starts sinking in and absorbing, the stuff that doesn't totally absorb gets washed off(which can make your tub/shower a bit slippery, so be careful if you put it near your feet or drop some on the floor of the tub/shower). I used this in the winter in Minnesota, so think like -15 below sometimes in the winter here. For us minnesotan's it means dry, flaky, cracked, irritated skin everywhere!! It worked to calm my skin down, hydrate very well, and repair it when used with a gentle, moisturizing body wash/soap.

I am in love with this stuff and it is one of the few things that you wash off and go on with life, other brands make you wait in the shower for a few minutes after washing your body and after putting the lotion on, Nivea's product doesn't. It saves a big step of slathering on lotion after you get out of the bath/shower. which in turn saves time! and yay! for more time!

This gets an A+ from me, just wish it didn't have a whole lot of other chemicals inside. maybe a bit more eco friendly, and with more natural products maybe. But I'll use it, because I love it!

you can pick up a bottle at your local target, walmart, drugstores, grocery stores, amazon, ect.

Thanks for reading,
~Ashley~

Garnier Clean + Invigorating Daily Scrub

Image
Garnier came out with a new line of products called the clean + line with products for each skin type from normal skin, oily skin, and dry skin. People have been raving about the clean + dry skin cleansing oil saying it is a drugstore alternative to other pricey dry skin cleaning oils for twice the price or more. I decided to pick up a scrub to get rid of my flaky skin from the winter time, and I chose this one for it's claims of refining pores and energizing skin with peppermint.  This product is 5 fl oz. and has a green tint to it with little beads in it to polish your skin. The price is between 5.00$ -9.00$ , and is affordable. The smell of the product is a sort of peppermint/ aloe/cucumber smell, it smells kinda like a spa, and reminds me of some other Garnier skin product I have tried.
Image
What I really like about this product is it feels soo great on your skin, and it kind of wakes you up, if you use it when you wake up. If you use it at night it refreshes you, and makes you feel pampered, like a spa treatment. It is Oil-free, non comedogenic, allergy tested, and gentle on your skin. This is branded for normal skin, but I think everyone can use it, except very sensitive skinned people. I will definitely be repurchasing this product. I can't wait to try more from this line of cleansing products. go garnier! :)
Love it!

Cleansing Oils: with Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse

Cleansing Oils
With Dermalogica precleanse
DSCN0497
This item is a deep cleansing oil that is used before washing your face on dry skin, to remove waterproof and stubborn makeup on your skin. It is an oil with apricot oil, rice bran oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, orange oil and grapefruit oils that is put on dry skin, then you add water to make a milky makeup remover. It hydrates and balances out your skin while taking off makeup.
Recently a lot of oil cleansers/ balm cleansers have come out and people are loving the results from these products, mainly for the hydrating and non rubbing (so no wrinkles) to get the makeup off. It even works on oily acne prone skin.
The Dermalogica cleansing oil is 38.00$ for a full size and 10.00$ for a travel size, which is the size I got in a beauty box a bit ago. since trying this product i'm open to trying other cleansing oils and more from the dermalogica line.
This is kind of an obsession of mine right now because my skin is drier in the fall/winter. Cleanse away!

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser

006
Biore' Charcoal Face Cleanser
I bought this Biore cleanser after hearing good things about it from a few Youtube gurus, and I have tried Japanese charcoal face masks to deeply cleanse and pull out dirt and oil. It also dries out and fixes blemishes. So I bought it. I have tried it a lot lately because my skin is not behaving from stress and being sick.
This cleanser is a gel based cleanser with bits of charcoal and charcoal powder in it. When you apply it it is gel, but after rubbing it into your face it becomes foamy. It does leave your face a bit tingly after using, but nothing major. it also leaves your face very smooth and clean looking. It has a pleasant smell, that isn't to overpowering. You can use this with a clairisonic which doubles the cleansing power of both the sonic cleansing waves, and also the charcoal in the cleanser.
It is dermatologist tested and oil free. It also says great for everyday use.
I have noticed my skin looking clearer and my pores are cleaned out after using this cleanser with my normal skin routine. I have noticed my blackheads are gone, my acne spots are dried out and smaller, and the texture and tone of my skin is cleaner and clearer. I would definitely repurchase this product, and try out more from the biore' charcoal line. I would also recommend to use this with a charcoal face mask for the ultimate results.
You can find the cleanser at drugstores, walmart, target, and at http://www.biore.com/en-US/dont-be-dirty/deep-pore-charcoal-cleanser
You can find charcoal masks at sasa.com, imomoko.com, sephora, and  http://www.amazon.com/Daiso-Japan-Natural-Pack-Charcoal/dp/B00C1F13CQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1423669401&sr=8-1&keywords=daiso+charcoal+mask .
have you tried this? do you like it? do you hate it? comment below and let me know what you think!

Have a great day!
