Garnier Fructis Marvelous Oil Review

Garnier Fructis Marvelous Oil

I got this product from my fiancee, he had it in his bathroom storage and wasn't using this product, so I  decided to try it on a whim. This product is by Garnier which is a loreal company, and Fructis is a line in the Garnier company. This product is a multi-use hair oil. It is 5 fl oz. and retails for 6.00$ on the Garnier website. (http://www.garnierusa.com/products/haircare/marvelous-oils/treatment/marvelous-oil-frizz-defy.aspx)  This hair oil is formulated for frizzy, dry, and unruly hair.  The formula for this oil is a blend of amla, carrot, and jojoba oils.

on the label it says it is a 5-in-1 hair oil. Here are the ways listed to use this oil:
1.) Pre-shampoo treatment
2.) Boost Conditioning
3.) Blow dry,/Hot tool Protector
4.) Finishing Oil
5.) Overnight Hair Treatment

I have used this oil in all ways but one, which would be to boost conditioner. So I have used this as a pre-shanpoo treatment, a blow dry/hot tool protector, a finishing oil, and an overnight hair treatment.

I like the overnight hair treatment, hair treatment, and finishing oil the most out of the bunch.

My personal favorite way to use this oil is to place it on the bottom half of my hair after getting out of the bath.shower, after I have washed my hair. It's like a leave in treatment, styling, and finishing shine oil. I leave it on for a few days, and then wash out and repeat.

When I used this as a pre-shampoo treatment my scalp felt good and my hair was good, it just wasn't as clean as I would have liked it, and my hair got greasier faster, but it did make my hair manageable and non frizzy after washing.

I might try to mix a pump in with my conditioner to see how that works just haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

I love this product quite a bit. I love what it does for my hair. It untangles, and makes my hair soft, silky smooth, shiny, frizz free, and more manageable.  Plus, it is more affordable then the argan oil hair oils, and whatever oil is in now to put on your everything. Is easy to find at a local store, and you can pick it up while you shop for other stuff. This makes me super happy!!

I love this and would give it an A+ or 5 our of 5 for me.

Garnier Clean + Invigorating Daily Scrub

Image
Garnier came out with a new line of products called the clean + line with products for each skin type from normal skin, oily skin, and dry skin. People have been raving about the clean + dry skin cleansing oil saying it is a drugstore alternative to other pricey dry skin cleaning oils for twice the price or more. I decided to pick up a scrub to get rid of my flaky skin from the winter time, and I chose this one for it's claims of refining pores and energizing skin with peppermint.  This product is 5 fl oz. and has a green tint to it with little beads in it to polish your skin. The price is between 5.00$ -9.00$ , and is affordable. The smell of the product is a sort of peppermint/ aloe/cucumber smell, it smells kinda like a spa, and reminds me of some other Garnier skin product I have tried.

What I really like about this product is it feels soo great on your skin, and it kind of wakes you up, if you use it when you wake up. If you use it at night it refreshes you, and makes you feel pampered, like a spa treatment. It is Oil-free, non comedogenic, allergy tested, and gentle on your skin. This is branded for normal skin, but I think everyone can use it, except very sensitive skinned people. I will definitely be repurchasing this product. I can't wait to try more from this line of cleansing products. go garnier! :)
Love it!

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water Review

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water

This is a review for the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water. This kind is the one formulated for removing waterproof makeup. This is a before cleansing product that removes makeup, preps for cleansing, and refreshes without rubbing. It is a bi phase product, which means it has two cleansing products that you mix up(shake) to combine and then apply.
Micellar water contains little ions that draw out dirt/sebum/and impurities and deeply cleans your skin without drying out your skin or causing blemishes.

"Micelles composed of ionic surfactants have an electrostatic attraction to the ions that surround them in solution, the latter known as counterions" Wikipedia.com

I use this before washing my face and carrying on with my skin care routine because I do not like the feeling it gives my skin, it's a personal preference. You could use this at night if your too tired to wash your face or do not have a sink nearby. Place on a cotton pad, square, or ball , swipe and let dry to have clean skin.

This product is Dermatologist tested, Ophthalmologist tested, and it won't clog pores.

I personally love it and will continue to buy it to help remove my makeup. This will stay in my skin care routine forever. Love it!
